Distance E-Learning
Distance E-Learning is rapidly becoming a popular means of gaining knowledge and an education.
Due to time constraints or perhaps geographical limitations, some learners may not be able to attend scheduled lecture sessions at any of our campuses. Others may simply prefer to complete the courses in their own time and without the face-to-face interaction with their lecturers and fellow learners.
The International Academy of Reflexology and Meridian Therapy (Pty) Ltd. has recognised this need and has developed a state-of-the-art Distance E-Learning programme covering all the modules and courses offered in the Diploma of Therapeutic Reflexology.

Courses are delivered using inter-active multimedia CD-ROMS and web board communication. Distance E-learners receive the same textbook, handbooks and working books as face-to-face learners, however instead of attending class, they must work through the activities and assessment tools on each CD-ROM. Our lecturers log-on to the web board at least twice a week and Distance E-learners are encouraged to simulate class interactions by asking questions and initiating discussions.
Distance E-learners must attend one compulsory workshop per module to hand in assignments and complete the exams. The intensive workshops will also focus heavily on the competency of the Distance E-learners’ practical skills that should be acquired with each course.
The structure of the programme is identical to the face-to-face class-mode. For further information, please check Course Information and download the latest Prospectus for a description of the content of each course.
